A general perception of a countries future depending on young people, is that true?
If it is then a country like India with a highly populated young citizens should have been the super power. we read it in our schools 'India is a developing country'
after 20 years we are the same developing nation ,so when can we proudly say 'India is a developed nation'?.
It is true that a countries progress is a product of young idealogy,and the youth of this country is so proud of its idealism.we justify ourselves that we are young and we have a young idealistic thinking and not bothering to question it.young idealism doesn't mean by a physically young person,
young idealism is that which breaks the traditional barriers to progress in life, how many of us are actually young at heart and mind?. Does our ideals and principles young? did we cross the barriers of cast n religion? I still see young people justifying vedic principles of society "Brahmana, vaishnava,kshatriya,shudra".we are physically young but our ideals are rotten.we are judgmental but impractical.
Indian youth must develop the scientific temper, they must rationally analyse and discuss social and public issues before forming an opinion, which unfortunately we donot.Am afraid most of us can't define economic growth and economic development but we judge governments incompetency.
SO where is the problem are we dumb?definitely not,Indians are leading in science and technology,we are striving for a university like MIT but have we ever thought of
having a 'kenedy school of governance'.Here is the problem how can we solve the issues in our country without knowing the root cause of it or with out having a basic knowledge of those issues. The issues of FISCAL DEFICIT,INFLATION, UNEMPLOYMENT,POVERTY.
