AN APOLOGY TO LEGEND BHAGAT SINGH
We ,the youth of this nation owe an apology to legend bhagat singh.We have idealised Bhagat Singh as a youth icon,a patriotic symbol of our nation. we call him shaheed,a martyr,a legend who lives for ever.And yes he lives,but only in statues,and photo frames. He lives in our t-shirts printed with his picture,he lives in our profile pictures in social networking, He lives in our filmy patriotism which has no sense..
WE ARE SORRY
You said " I will live for ever in your hearts,I will live in every revolution".But sorry, we have buried your principles of revolution.we have used your name to justify our cruel wickedness, We have made you a symbol of violence.
You said "society should rise and fight against belief of religion"
but sorry for we have justified killings in the name of religion.We have used your criticism on MAHATMA GANDHI to justify the killing of mahatma .We have made you a hero of communal creed.
You said "Vedas are coined by privileged classes to justify the power they have usurped and the riches they have robbed from the poor"
"Any person who claims to be a realist has to challenge the truth of old belief"
But sorry our minds are rotten to justify those age old traditions,We have crucified and abused DR.B.R.AMBEDKAR who fought against those usurpers.We have buried your fight against casteism.
Your belief is socialism doesn't exist in our hearts , your belief in marxist principles of "ANTI-CAPITALISM" and "IMPERIALISM THE HIGHEST FORM OF CAPITALISM" is ridiculed as we support crony capitalism .We deny the injustice to poor farmers in the name of development.
You have taught us the meaning of courage is the willingness to die for justice, not to kill innocent .but we have justified brutality against innocent people, We claim ourselves young patriots ,devotees to bhagat singh to justify violence and atrocity.
Your sacrifice to this nation turned us selfish justifying our selfish nationalism ,your fight for justice to humanity is in vain our knowledge made us cynical and our hearts unkind .As u said"His Heart is dead, a mere lump of flesh,devoid of feelings" suits us perfectly.
Forgive us to misuse your ideology of revolution...Forgive us for we have buried your principles of revolution..Forgive us, as we claim you as our inspiration to our deeds...
